What's Your Number?
We all strive towards a healthy lifestyle but sometimes that can be difficult when the target keeps changing. Guidelines on cholesterol level management and optimal blood sugar range have changed over the last few years. Couple that with a new definition of obesity and it can leave even the most well-intentioned person confused. Here are the current guidelines as they stand now for blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and weight.

Systolic Blood Pressure (top number) Diastolic Blood Pressure (bottom number)
Normal Blood Pressure  less than 120 less than 80
 Pre-hypertension 120-139 80-89
Hypertension greater than 140 greater than 90
